Massive stars are key players in galactic ecosystems. They dominate the radiative and mechanical feedback, drive the evolution of their host galaxies, and provide crucial beacons to explore the universe at cosmic scales. Among their many extreme properties, most massive stars start their life in binary or higher-order multiple systems. Interaction(s) with a nearby companion fundamentally impact their evolution and final fate, and the type of compact remnants produced. In this conference, we aim to bring together observers and theoreticians bridging across all sub-fields relevant to understand the life cycle of massive binary and multiple systems, from the still uncertain formation process to their initial multiplicity, from the main sequence to the late evolutionary phases, from the first gravitational collapse to the constraints provided on and obtained from gravitational wave signals.
