We formulate variational principles for the theory of multilayer thin bodies, from which we derive the corresponding variational principles for the five-layer theory of thin bodies in moments with respect to systems of orthogonal polynomials under the various interlayer contact conditions. As particular cases, we consider classical and micropolar prismatic and cylindrical thin bodies. The Lagrange principle is considered in more detail, and based on it we build a finite element.
