We present a survey of recent advances in generating giant magnetic fields at light scattering. We show that generating such fields may accompany resonant light scattering by small nonmagnetic particles. We demonstrate how to tailor and control the field pattern and its contrast. We reveal the physical grounds of the phenomenon. We supplement the theoretical consideration with experimental evidence.
