Development of novel electronic materials requires detailed knowledge of their stability in various operating conditions. We report the results of a photoemission study of the (Bi,Sb)2Te3 surface oxidation in dry and humid air. The surface reactivity for the solid solutions is much higher than for Bi2Te3 and is similar to that of Sb2Te3, thus demonstrating non-linear dependence on the composition.
