Аннотация:The article offers a method for assessing the risk reduction of impacts on areas of water area and coasts based on the results of calculations of an ensemble of oil distribution scenarios prepared according to a representative set of hydrometeorolog-ical conditions, taking into account the planned response measures to an oil spill. The proposed modeling method for calculating the removal of oil from the sea surface, in addition to weathering processes, considers the processes of collecting or removing oil by Oil Spill Response. Each scenario of oil propagation from the ensemble used in the risk analysis of spill spread can be recalculated taking into account the response capability, which is determined through a set of response efficiency coefficients. The set of response efficiency coefficients depends on the scale of the oil spill, the specifics of using specific equipment, and restrictions on responding to weather conditions (fog, storm, and dark). The proposed approach allows us to make calcu-lations to determine whether it is appropriate to increase forces and resources in the implementation of the chosen response strategy.
