Аннотация:
Data on variability of increased chromosome aberration frequencies for the group of the Chernobyl accident liquidators with respect to genotypes by candidate loci are presented. Genotyping was performed by sites, which previously indicated associations with cytogenetic variability in the control experiments. It is shown that for a group of liquidators heterozygous by SOD2 C47T site, the frequency of chromosome aberrations does not reliably exceed the control level. At a tendency level, the aberration frequency in liquidators was reduced for double homozygotes by GSTM1-GSTT1 gene deletions and homozygotes by minor allele T606G of CYP1A1 site that corresponded to experimental results with the control sampling. Generally, the increased level of chromosomal aberrations in liquidators is observed for those genotypes, which demonstrate the increased spontaneous aberrations level, and not exactly corresponds to genotypes with increased chromosome radiosensitivity. © 2012 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc.
